I'm in the market for some dessert...

This simple mélange is a direct result of yesterday’s market visits. Admittedly, I am confused, and my sense of timing is off – it feels like we just got done with cherries, yet there they were, one of my favorite fruits, dark red and firm. Then, Trader Joes had some amazing peaches – Really, already !? To complete the trifecta, some of the most wonderful local blood oranges I’ve seen in a long time at the Farmer’s Market. So what was a body to do ? Keep it simple, right down to the syrup ( pun intended ! ).
