This Syrah is our 5th vintage from this special hillside vineyard. It is rich and robust, and marries well with anything from grilled steaks and sausages, to lamb recipes, to cassoulet.
The 2007 Syrah, from the Sage Canyon Vineyard in Napa Valley, hints at blackberry, anise and smoke on the nose, while offering a well balanced mouthfeel of dark fruits, minerality, and dried sage, with ample back-palate tannins.

We had the pleasure of having this bottle with our Christmas dinner -- I can't remember when I've had such an excellent bottle -- it's legs were amazing, taste indescribable. I'll be getting this again!
PS We opened another bottle of Syrah that by comparison I felt I had to pour down the drain. Now I'm spoiled.
