Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to Alaska, California, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington. If Miller Wine Works is unable to ship directly to your state, we may be able to arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Miller Wine Works.
All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. You assume and take title to your wines in California upon purchase. You are responsible for the shipment of all orders you place with Miller Wine Works. By placing an order, you authorize Miller Wine Works to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier (either UPS or FedEx ) to deliver your order where you want it delivered. Miller Wine Works acts only as your agent for the shipping / delivery of your wine. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. You are solely responsible for the shipment of your wine and for determining the legality and the tax / duty consequences of having your wine shipped to you. Once wine has left our storage facility, the buyer is solely responsible for any loss or damage.
UPS Ground and Federal Express Ground are Miller Wine Works carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided at current market rates. *Note – unless noted, the customer pays all shipping charges, regardless of his or her wine club membership or purchase amount.
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Miller Wine Works is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
